For years, the Baja has been a favourite among 1/5 Scale Petrol buggy enthusiasts, and Rovan has taken the best features of the original model and enhanced them. With a drivetrain that is now 25mm wider, symmetrical steering as standard, upgraded shocks, and more robust suspension arms, the 450S V2 is the ultimate petrol buggy!
The Baja Sport has been equipped with a torquey 45cc motor that has been paired with the upgraded sport tuned exhaust and a 1190 Walbro Carburettor for unmatched sound and performance.
The Baja V2 also features a fresh new aesthetic with an updated roll cage, dirt buster V2 wheels, and sleek black aluminium chassis, giving it the looks to match its all terrain conquering capability!

The Rovan Baja V2 now come equipped with the popular symmetrical steering upgrade installed as standard. This upgrade improves the turning circle of the Baja and increases steering performance dramatically!
The V2 Baja Sports a massive 25 mm wider drivetrain. This upgrade has done wonders and improved the handling dramatically, helping you focus on nailing that corner! Additionally, the Hex has been redesigned with a screw pin design to eliminate C-Clips flying off, never to be found.
Not only do the rims now look more sleek and modern, they have been wrapped with the impressive Gen2 Dirt Buster Tyres. These high grip tyres provide better traction on all surfaces and work with the rest of the upgrades to provide a more stable and consistent experience.
The V2 Baja Sports a new, lightweight plastic roll cage designed to flex and protect the chassis and components much better. Additionally, this sleek black cage is LED ready with a rally style roof LED mount ready for you to install lights of your choice. With this additional LED capacity, you can keep your bashing sessions running late into the night!
The Baja V2 Sports an aggressive, almost F1 style body shell and new sleek black aluminium chassis. This incredible looking baja is ready to catch the eye of rivals and admirers alike and is sure to impress thanks to its carefully crafted design, as well as providing the required toughness you expect from the 1/5 petrol basher.
The 450S sports a powerful 45cc engine that has been paired with a Walbro 1191 carbie and NGK dual ring spark plug. This beefy engine provides an incredible level of torque and speed, so you don’t have to worry about anything but chasing that perfect bashing experience!
The Baja now comes standard with a high-performance 7000 RPM clutch. This upgrade delivers improved acceleration and smoother power transfer, vastly improving the Baja’s overall performance.
The Baja’s revamped suspension delivers a smoother, more controlled ride. Newly designed shocks, featuring a striking bronze finish, provide improved damping and responsiveness, while adjustable settings allow you to fine-tune the handling to your liking.
The Rovans drivetrain has been made even tougher thanks to the hex keyed pinion gear! This ensures that there is greater security and strength for the pinion and ensures you maintain a consistent mesh, allowing for better longevity and performance.
Additionally, the pinion gear is manufactured from steel to provide the highest level of durability!
The mid and high range Baja come with the incredibly reliable Fly Sky GT3B radio as standard. Featuring a built-in failsafe, large back lit LCD screen, multiple programming options and 10 model memory, this radio is the perfect addition to the perfect petrol buggy!
For additional power and torque, this Baja has been fitted with the powerful sport tuned exhaust! This exhaust not only provides awesome 2 stroke noise, it ensures that the Baja has all the additional power and torque you need to bash wherever you want.
The Baja V2 features a super strong, aluminium clutch mount. This heavy duty, but lightweight, design ensures that the motor mount has a solid base to sit on and provides a rock solid mount for the clutch to ensure maximum clutch engagement every single time!
